Instagram has been only one of the few platforms that rely on a 3rd party app to let users repost content. Facebook shares and Twitter re-tweets has been around for years, and it’s surprising that Instagram took this long to catch on.
A major problem today on Instagram is how easy it is to copy photos from others and re-share without attribution. With Instagram bots and tools like 4K Stogram, you can easily download all images from any account.
Though Regram is still in its secret testing phases, we are confident this will go live in the future given the popularity of this feature. For example, the app Repost for Instagram by Red Cactus is ranked #25 in Social Networking on the App Store, averaging a 4.7-star rating with over 444 reviews.
Regram won’t be the only feature launched in Instagram’s next big update. As reported on The Next Web, others include GIF searches for stories, Closest friends list, Share to Whatsapp, Instagram Beta App for iOS, pin thread options in direct messages, and ability to follow hashtags.
